Shutdown BMW DIS & SSS

Hello chaps
Does anyone know what is the correct way to shutdown the laptop running BMW DIS and Running BMW SSS

I've been holding down the power button for 4 seconds and Ive screwed up my SSS instalation.

I have both DIS and SSS in the same hard drive.

you have to go to the unix screen ,press alt+f3 ?

then you give a unix power down command
(exit)????? long time a go for me .....

Dual boot BMW DIS/SSS (Progman) laptop install shut down procedure:

for DIS, be at the "splash" screen (main screen w/ E65 pic) just hold down your power button.

SSS/Progman, from the "splash" screen:

>Admin >Settings > Overview > highlight your SSS station

(you"ll see a list, or in your case just one, on the left side of the screen)

>Operating status

at the bottom of the screen you should see two buttons:

Restart and Switch off

heres where your properly / safely shut down SSS/Progman

hi for shutdown DIS is 1,press ctrl+alt+F10 at the same time, 2 input: shut press enter it will shut down
about SSS i forgot this moment will tell u tmr ^^

for DIS:
ctrl+alt +f12 , you'll get console screen where writen :
login:

Just type: shut
hit enter.

Control + Alt + F1 then " shut " wait until the whole process ends...


SSS

Main screen Go to ADMINISTRATOR ----> SETTINGS ---->SSS --->OPERATING STATUS ---> SWITCH OFF System will shut down.
