Dreambox 500C Problem Nothing Works!

I have recently just got the Dreambox 500C and i did a Transporter Scan and it says the follwing:

All Known Transponders have been tried, but No Lock was possible, Verity antenna/ cale-set up or try another Satellite/network

I have tryed other options but i dont get anything and no channels what so ever and on the channel it says:

switch Service could not be found!

no EPG available

Please can anyone help me set this all up so my box could be up and running please:top:

Have you tried uploading a new image...Theres a lot of really good info in the sticky threads above.

Once i had conected my pc to dreambox and changed the image to http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/images/2/digital-kaos-v1-1-image-dm500-c-s-t-312/ all was ok and I am getting all The FTA channels.

well if ya look on page 6 of the dreambox forum you will see his posts there before and other people then thought u were takin d piss then as well so i'll leave it with ya eh....

sorry to jump in guys. Harry, why the hell did you buy a dreambox when you clearly (after reading your threads) don't have a clue. there are a load of excellent step by step guides on here and yet you consistently clog up the place with schoolboy questions.
I know that Dk is a place where you can come for excellent help with most probs, but FFS bloke! try and help yourself before asking inane questions.
When I first came onto dk with my first dreambox, i read devilfishes guide to installing dk. its SIMPLE to follow. thommos guide to ftping is also piss easy to understand. plus they are now in one place in the total noobs guide in the download section.
c'mon guy what you're doing is the same as joining a library and asking everybody in there to read books to you.

sorry i did follow the stickes and have sorted my box out im asking questions about problems i cant solve thats all the rest i have sorted sorry for pissing you guys off man didnt mean to i no i can be a pain in the arse but i wont learn unless i get yurs help sorry again i dont mean to offend no1 just here for help and to learn everyone has to start off sumwhere and im not the only 1 who does simple posts look around theres lots of people im not that experienced as yu guys but want to be as good and so do other newbies do to.

nobody on here has ANYTHING against noobs asking questions. we were all starting out once. what pi55es people off is when new guys ask the basic questions and then dont follow the advice given. ive read your threads and all your questions were answered. but you continue to ask the same questions. as devilfish said in a previous thread started by you, "Come on people, try and help yourself first! We will gladly help you out but you at least need to know what we're talking about for it to be of any use to you." rant over. lets get to the bottom of your prob

in another thread, you asked about plugging a eurovox into a sky feed. you ARE plugged into a cable feed i take it?
1: are you plugged into a cable feed?
no. well thats what you need
yes. ok next step
2: have you got dk v1.1 on the box using dreamup?
no. do it then
yes. ok next step
3: have you ftp'd keys and roms into the correct folders?
no. do it
yes. next step
4: do a scan using bruteforce uk. found the channels?
no. your feed isnt live/you need a signal booster or your tuner in the box is knackered. make sure you are coming directly from the box on the wall to your 500c without any splitters. test either your or a pals vermin stb or other cable receiver that you know works. if either of these work, try reflashing box using dreamup. follow the guide here Dream-Multimedia-Tv GmbH (http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/dm500/) making sure you erase the previous flash. if this is no good you either need a signal booster or the tuner in your 500c is ~~~~ed
yes. go to sky sports 1 press and hold info button evocam is starting. and wait
that is as simple as i can make the steps you need. i have seen on other threads that you know how to ftp so you shouldnt need the noobs guide but d/load it anyway. if you cant follow it mate, to be honest you should flog your 500 and get a more basic receiver.

just noticed that you're only in walsall. do you drive? i'm in tamworth only about 10 mile from you. if you can bring the box to me, i'll try and help you out mate. pm me if you wanna go down that road

i just went threw the stickies over and over again and got there at the end took me hours but sorted it thanks :) just dont get AbC1 and Box Offices Channel i did try the manual scan input and got the channel up but says no signal but other than that everythings all good

you wont get abc1 because it has ceased broadcasting. (on the vermin network at least). box office will show up when theres an event on
