Hi!
Could someone help me?
I cloned an Edc17c64 ecu and unfortunately it doesn't work!
The following DTCs are P160A00, P157000

ofcourse................just clone will never work on edc17............

First restore data off the replacement ecu.


You need read the immo data from the old ecu, or cluster.
And adapt the eeprom data, of the replacement ecu.

Tango and vvdi2, some other tools, have a immo editor.

If your replacement ecu, is choosen correct.
Dsg or manual etc. Compare longcode.

if donor ECU have same Software and Power Class so is possible Transfer only immo data
if you are not sure about info as above - need to be done full ecu clone

The two ECUs are the same Bosch 0 281 018 498, 04L 907 309 D EDC17C64
but the original is the Skoda 184PS, the clone I wrote is the Seat 150PS
So I tried full ECU cloning with K-Tag, but unfortunately it doesn't work!

There was no problem reading the original ECU or writing the purchased ECU either!
When the Cloned ECU is installed, the glow lamp flashes during the test and the following DTCs are present when the fault is read P160A00, P157000

Hi,

with special fonction AVDI you can do it !

If you haven't , post your ori files and the second file " flash and eep for two".
