Hi, I have a VW Polo 6R 1.6TDI 66KW. Since I have bought this car I'm disappointed about the lack of 77kw version in the italian market, so I want to crossflash my ECU with CAYC software. It's known that CAY engines are identical hardware wise, the differences are in ECU maps, in the driver whishes and in the torque limiters.

My car is equipped with this
757644

This is instead a VW Polo 6r 77KW ECU from spanish market seen on the bay
757642

Same same brand, same car, same HW.
I want to preserve my original ECU so if something goes wrong I can restore the car.
I don't want to use the tuning approach beacuse I don't have the right tools nor the knowledge and I want to stay with an original FW.

I've bought an used 03L906023MA and it's on the way.
I've also bought an SVCI 2020 tool and it's also on the way.
I have an old VCDS clone v.12.12 and a VAS5054A clone with odis S 6.2 and Engineering 12.1.1
The first thing will do is reading immo data and coding from original ECU with the help of SVCI, next installing the used ECU and adapt it, then crossflash with MC SW and if power class changes, correct it in the dash.
That's right? I forget something? What do you think about?
Thanks to who will give me an advice.

Very hard method, simple will be read and unlock your PCR2.1 and do chiptuning.

Yes I know, but I'm not a professional, I want to do this just for my car.

So someone knows if that last SVCI 2020 can adapt these PCR2.1?
Did someone has been trying?
