Are their any solder points? I'm asking because I don't want to unsolder the chip if possible. Which I gather is the 8 legger to the upper left of the big chip. My other problem is that my smelecom pogo doesn't fit the chip. I'm including some pictures of the back of the board and I'm hoping some of you can give me some guidance. Thanks in advance to all that participate. I believe it's a 93C86.

Take out your multimeter and find the points.
It's easy to find.

it depends on which programmer you are going to be using to read eeprom, not all programmers are safe to read incircuit,
you can end up with corrupted data in eeprom, id unsolder and read unless your programmer is safe to read incircuit.

Set voltage to 3.0 or 2.9. First try at 3.7 gave me an issue. These chips keep getting smaller so voltage drops on them as well for efficiency purposes/manufacture process changes, something to keep in mind.

Restarting conversation just because another one came in... This one the display is flickering they said it's intermittent. Anyone have a power up for the 32 pin plug in the back of the cluster?
