Hi

I have got a etl 908 programmer clone and the 2 components that i have circled in red are missing,can some one tell me exactly what they are so i can solder them in so it works.

Its the 2 orange ones. I someone could compare with there programmer?

I think they are capacitors for the atmeg oscilator the picture could be slighty better . I had 2 clones from china and in 1 they were missing and the programmer workerd and in the second they were in the right place . You can put 30pf capacitors.

The first programmer I got from china did not work with the capacitors I had to remove them, but you can put them and see if it works.

Thats strange.. Maybe thats why they are not on there on my clone Cheers

I was in my workshop to check it and in my clone there are 2 capacitors 20pf

Seems i will have to solder the 2 20pf's in then. Aint worth sending back. How the Fcuk can that get missed even for a clone! All the rest of it is a good standard. Thanks for the help guys

Does the 20 pf capacitor that i need have to be 50v or 100v?:o

M8 first try it as is. Then will see . Nothin can be wrong. I have also a China clone and works very good for more than 1 year.

Hi Dear Adam
you need solder 20-30 pf ceramic capacitor not electrolit capacitor & on ceramic capacitor no need set voltage (usally)
