My 500 has stop working, it wont light up on front panel my first thought is maybe the power supply is there any way of testing this

any good with a multi meter? Maybe the fuse has gone in the plug?

i dont have a meter, the fuse is ok in plug

Are you getting a LED on the ac adapter box?

my adaptor doesnt have a light indicator

I think you need to get the lead checked first as it could be the adapter thats faulty, Or you maybe able to find another one cheaply to try...Take it down to your local maplins or like and see if they can test it/replace it for you? if not then probably the box...I am unsure if they have a fuse in them as never opened one up yet :saint:
Do you know anyone else near you that has the same box that you could try?

a mate had a prob with his, the green light flickered and no picture. he opened it up and resoldered everything inside and its working since. hope this helps.

power supplies blowing is a common problem with the 500 but they can easily be replaced.Maplin is your best bet but bring along the one you have to get the right voltage/amp etc.
