Volvo c30 vs Kess v5.017

Does Kess v5.017 tool can read and write Volvo C30 1.6D 2007 ?

I’ve tried lost of times and most of them don’t work. Its the 1.6d in c30, v70, ect.

Even ori kess cant read..

Some of them i think 2007 you cant do them via obd as they dont have a kline connection at the obd socket so i do them on bench all the time.

Kess v50.17 will be second tuning thing which I bougth first MPPS v13 :D neither one have volvo c30 1.6 on it :(
Bench programing it's will be too deep water for me I think but is worth it, do you have any tutorials how to do it ?
any links ?

Get ktag or fgtech both do these no problem, then get a bdm frame they do 3d printed ones on ebay if your short on funds,
a edc16 bdm adapter also can get these on ebay and a heat gun to open up the ecu as the edc16 has a shit load of sealer on that's about it really there are loads of tutorials on Google and youtube.

i have already told you it does not have kline on the plug it says it can do it but only with different cable you have to probe the kline on the connector for it to read/write via obd

you can always try to id it tho cant you to see if its connects or not?

My brand new K-TAG clone just arrived any sugestions how to do it with my ECU ?
Any links or tutorials ?

Hi, you should have in K-tag images how to connect with ECU (under green chech sign you have button like BOOK)

Connect to it with boot pin, ktag shows you the pinout connection. You’ll have to take of lid of ecu to connect. Carefull when opening ecu not to damage pcb.

I would not recommend.
You need bdm edc16 chip and a bdm frame.

You need to open the ECU and put the ECU under the bdm frame, lower the bdm chip on the bdm port on ECU.
Then you read it through KTAG.

Its very easy actually.
