Hi anyone have a clue where I can fine the glow plug relay in my 53 plate Zafira 2.0 DTi. I'm guessing its right side rear of engine bay when standing in front looking in. Roughly behind the screen wash bottle. looks like theres a box there and numbered 1-8 on it.

Anyone know which on it is?

Cheers

What makes you think you need one or are you just testing it?

see if the interor light dims when you turn ign on. Secondly when the fuel light comes on down load some injector cleaner and fill with shell or bp fuel not supermarket crap.

They are in two 'banks' of two

seem to think (unless thinking vwgulf/passat) they have a 50amp fuse upgrade is either 80amp or a nail, can't remeber which.

Also to add to the above,if you disconnect the Temp sender the \ecu will default to -40. This will bring the glow plugs on without a doubt!!!!!!

Only use shell its defo heating related as on a normal day car starts fine so I really doubt its a fueling problem. Has to be some proble with the pre heat system.

they have problems with the injector seals too letting air in, if u park the car facing down hill or jack the back up in the garage as high as u can and leave over night and it starts its them , sound strange but true
