Can files be reused on same cars with identical sw number?

When you have a master tool and the software version is exactly the same you can. An engine (for example bmw530d) can have multiple hardware versions (ecu hw) and so also multiple software versions.

Thanks. Yes i was talkink about same hw, sw number and i think car equipment type should be the same, like trans., cruise control...
