EDC16C34 eeprom flash location

Hi all,
Got a board that's fried and trying to locate flash/eeprom on it but are unsure, as it's not where it's "supposed" to be. It's an EDC16C34 from a citroen berlingo. Saw another guys post here that it's the small one near the bdm connector.
Anyone got any ideas? Have googled it without luck. Thought it might be underneath the processor but it's not (see the circle), could it be a flip board?

Flash in the MCU ..MPC 562.... (big ~~~~er ).. eep between the BDM pads (red box) // eep end of red arrow ..(perchance )..:) under your highlight ....
