Hi guys ,2005 Focus 2 faulty cluster ,the customer doesn t want it repaired but swapped with RED/WHITE mk2.5 cluster.

The car has 2 keys .

I know that i need to reset keys from the new cluster and then program 2 keys to it and the perform module initialisation (this is mmy first cluster swap)

My questions are : -Can i use car's 4D63 original transponders or i need new chips?
-Can this procedure be done with IDS or Forscan ? I have both
-Can the mileage be corected with either one of the tools above?

you need initialization with ids, reprogram 2 keys,no need new transponder, and car start
for mileage corected post dump motorola here
it's not possible with ids

Solved,in case of anyone is looking for this retrofit

Putted in new cluster ,erased keys with ids ,went to key program .................failed (car original 4d63 and a new virgin 4d63) .

Plugged in Forscan ,went to Key programming ,succesful ,2 keys added (car original and a new 4d63)

Then with Forscan went to Module Initialisation ,requiered a DUAL TYPE OUTCODE ,and programming succesful .

then with ELM CONFIG adapted options (BC/CRUISE CONTROL )
