HI
the engine is an NFU 1.6i automatic. Petrol.
ecu is a bosch ME 7.4.4 Vin VF7N1NFUN73160211. Do you need more data. I was using lexia345.13 for auto adaptation of throttle body when it locked. I turned key off too soon resulting in locking

what i would do is try a flash cable on it,,,like a galletto....this may wake the ecu and you could then flash it with that file you have,,,,,if this dont work, then you will have to remove the ecu....open it up....and solder to the correct pins,ie to power the ecu up....then flash directly to chip....

opens a control unit unlocks itself.
There is no reason for panic, patience is required.

If the auto-adaptive to the engine, NFU.
It may happen that the ecu is locked.
Normally open about an hour. the battery connected. and the ignition off

Hello guys.
The locked ecu of xsara is still giving me hell. All actuators work with lexia. Key coding done twice. still car cant fire up. Waking the Bsi tried. Plip synchronised. the only tool I have is lexia. Battery reconnection and disconnection procedure followed. Bsi replies.injector ecu no reply. airbag ecu no reply.

Hello,

Disconnect the Battery for 30min and Reconnect it again than lock and unlock the car using your remote fob.

Than try to start see if it helps.

All the best

Hello there guys
I finally managed to unlock xsara II ecu.
-removed battery
-removed Bsi, checked connections and cleaned them.
-refitted Bsi
-reconnected battery following 3min and 10 seconds rule
-woke up Bsi
-carried out auto adaptives again
-wallaa immo light off, engine fired up.
But I have no technical explanation for this.

Bob

when you say unlocked what do you mean?

I have a Xsara that won`t accept the key that its always had after having some work done on the car?

The immobiliser won`t come off and the car wont start...is this the same as yours?

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Have to input a file in the virgin eeprom and reprogram the ECU with proxia.
