Citroen DCU 102 self adapt or virgin please help

Hello to all. In the following days, I will receive donor ecu DCU-102. Do I need to read original ( BAD water damage ) ecu or I can write in donor self learning file that I see here in DK? With self learning do I need to program after that injector codes? At me I have X-prog and I can arrange boot mode programmer from a friend of mine. Please give advice now so I can prepare properly. Thank you in advance.
