Yes, I know....
But you changed VIN number and wrote a new VIN on dump.
After this, radio is plug and play on new car by new VIN or must be associate by OPCOM?

Hi my friend...
once I have already connected this radio to the bench,
and now I would like to test it again, but I don't remember exactly the pinout ...
pin 38 is GND and pin 44 is + 12v ...
But it doesn't turn on.
I found this photo on the net ...
Is it possible that the 43 must be powered with + 12v?
I'm afraid of burning everything !!!

Hi,
I tested radio in old car... when the radio was turned on, the words "no vin" came out.
The radio seems to work in the old car, but I'm not sure if it works on the new one that's far away.
Is it normal?

hi shooting,
Then I would do so... I rewrite your file with the new VIN,
I no longer connect it to the bench and I will mount it directly in the new car.
Is it right?

Correct, unless it's wrote to MCU, then you will need OBD tool to reset it (Only way)

but it's strange...
although before he said "no VIN",
radio turned on anyway and it works.
I haven't tried CD and bluetooth...
Why do I need to change the VIN?
What is it for?

Goodmorning everyone,
this is the second episode ...
after writing the file made by shooting, the car radio on the desk no longer turned on.
Connected to the old car I got the word NO VIN but then it seemed to work properly.
Even plugged back in on the bench, it works.
Re-reading the eeprom, I saw that the vin number returned to the previous one and no longer like the one who wrote shooting who also changed other addresses as well as the simple VIN.
what do i do now? in your opinion, if I install it in the new car with this situation, will it work?

Maybe I expressed myself badly ...
I am not arrogant even in life, imagine if I am here with you.
I just can't understand ... This is the first time this has happened to me.
The radio will have to be sent 150 km away and I would like it to work without problems.
If you assure me that with your edited file the radio will work plug and play in the new car, I will do as you said ...
(but do you have software to change the VIN ???).
Thanks and sorry

No, I did as you said ...
I unmounted everything again and rewrote your file without connecting it anymore on the bench.
Even though I don't understand why, I totally trust you.
Thanks

it would have been too late anyway because the radio had already been connected to the bench when it was taken apart to see if it worked.
Then this story was born ...
however, the forum is for learning.
A good teacher also explains the why of things and a good student must understand before doing.
Anyway, thanks anyway
