op-com confused

I am totally confused (no change) have got an opcom device it came with and older version of the software can I use one of the later versions for newer cars and where is a safe place to get it form ? do I need to re-program the pic and can this be done without removal

Your opcom china clone should work fine with SW Opcom 082010 and Vauxcom 120309a. But try it here.

can't get this to run on windows 7 says can't connect to internet and on windows 10 reports it as a virus

For me, the link works fine on WIN 7 (32bit) and WIN 8 (64bit). Disable antivirus and download. The "OPCOM ID" application is detected as a virus there. There you will find an email address for someone who activates SW 170823c EN.
I downloaded it but personally did not use it.
