Hi all, I'm doing N55 MEVD172 DME Swap on 2012 E92 LCI with GA6HP19Z.

If I change ISN in CAS to match donor DME, will I have EWS problems with the transmission?

Do I have to use the original car ISN for transmission to go into gear without EGS EWS unlock/reset?

Thanks

Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using TapatalkEws in gearbox is not active so you can write dme isn in CAS, do coding on ECU and start the car.

Why opening new topic... all you need is in your older one.
And last time... because two people tell you now three times...
NO CHANGES IN EGS! NO CHANGES IN ECU!
Just read this f***** ISN from dme an WRITE INTO CAS!
Rest working hours in cas and do the coding stuff!

I want to make sure I do the job right the first time because I only get one chance (car is 300km away).

I'm sorry if I offended you by opening new thread in separate forum with a more simplified and direct to the point question.

The answer appears to be that for E90 there is no implementation for EGS EWS so there is nothing to worry about.

Thanks for your help

After change isn in CAS you need to sync CAS with egs but not the case on E90.
