Kess V2 XC90 edc16+c31 help needed

Hi I have a kess v2 clone it works tried it on my mb Vito, now trying to work out on my XC90 2009 185bhp. Seen various methods but what one is best. I have a few cables but not sure what one to use. Thanks in advance

You want to work on a car in 2009 with a Kess clone.

with newer cars from 2008 onwards I recommend an original device

The ECU is no different to a 2006 XC90 (185bhp)

Car year don't have much to do difference in this case. It is still edc16 as for example 2004 year.

There is no kline on obd port. Kline is 43 pin of ecu and you need to connect it somehow, use imagination, or remove and try this pinout or at last use bdm.

Hi yes I seen the pinout but what cable to use, I seen others taken pin43 connect to pin 7 back of obd port too?
