PSA extra keyless key 2014+ not functioning.

Hello guys,

I ones made a spare keyless key, 308 2015 with conti bsi.
New worked fine, and owner key could only be used to start the car.
Manualy remote match did not fix this.

Is this a common issue?
There is no reprogram order on these, old first?

I used Smok uhds to program.

Psa keyless procedure is not good with smok. With diagbox need to enter number of new keys and number of old keys and after that you can program keys. If you don’t respect this procedure old keys not working on remote and keyless. Only start on ring with old keys. Allready had this problem. Try to reprogram your keys with diagbox if not working need to add new key.

Its not the SMOK problem

This is common problem with all tools that I tried Autel im608 XTool H108 Lexia SKP900 and more

Keyless work only on the first programmed key no matter the original one or the aftermarket one

Rob now program the original key first and will work but on the second key keyless will not work

I thought the last programmed key is a valet key so no prox... so need to program a third key if you want 2 working

I can always use a vvdi smart key, to acted as nr3.

Last time I programmed 3 keys only on the first keyless work

thats bcose the keys MUST have to the exact same type. As i mentioned before like the mazda keyless system.
The cars will accept any kind of keyless PSA remote... you can swith the learning order on PSA if not the same type only the first learned key will work correctly.

Like: C4 grand picasso working perfect with PUG 508 remote (keyless and remote too) BUT only when learned first. The second learned (car's orig) c4 GP key not working..only the emergency part. If i switching the learning order the orig key working full and the 508 only the emergency.
Is that simple

If you want all keys work it is simple use only diagbox. Only this tool ask you how many new keys have you and how many old keys have you and order of programming is different.

Mark of bsi is not problem. Continental valeo Johnson control same procedure. Only Delphi bsi after 2016. Keyless is different not id46 hitag2 but hitag aes.

i already faced this problem (went crazy a little bit) after that i ordered a new key according the VIN number it worked on spot without diagbox just with a simple tdb1000. After that i made a little experiment with vvdi smart remote. With two kind of keyless precode i get the same non-working stuff the third worked fine. For me it just a simple compatibility problem maybe you can fix with diagbox but i never tried.

Is the new software harder to activate I had a old clone on old laptop working okay cant update to newer versions any help on pm any users thank you.

Done this on a 2016, estate earlier this year.
Keyless ID46. CN.
Add extra spare.
Both keys worked just fine.
Remote and keyless.
Done with O-star.

No problem.
I think I used the original first.
and CN key second.

hello , Diagbox virtual machine is the only way for latest cars , i don't use this tool

The real problem of all this tool is when you read pin.

The flash have some corrupt value after.

For resolve the problem you have 2 choice.

1. Use online diagbox and make "telechargement" / "downlaod"

2. Use UdsCanOnline tool to repair the flash.

Smok kill flash from this bsi, same for im608.

If you change vin from eeprom without special tool you will also stop the smart remote working.

That happend to me Didu,
I used smok, on a keyless 2016 308.
Retrieving pin.
Writing back flash eeprom and config with smok failed to solve a constant dtc.
Car had to go to dealer, they replaced bsi.

Hello,

I have faced the same issue with a Peugeot 508 2012 model with Keyless and i used IO Terminal to retrieve the pin i tried to program with Launch but the key was starting the car only in the slot and remote not working i plugged Diagbox and all worked like a charm.

Be sure to have a brand new battery, on the new spare key CN.
And not an old one.
Which have been in the key, over a long time when being in stock. Since the key was bought.

A couple of weeks ago, the new key gave me trouble. On a programming.
Only work a couple of times.
Only start and remote. 3-4 times.
And fail.
Had to place the key in the position, to make it start after that.
Reprogram with another tools, etc.

New battery in the key.
And everything, was OK.

CN batteries, usually do not last so long.
When kept in stock.

So better change to a new one, first.
And then try the programming.
