Nissan X trail 2.2 DTI hard to start low on power P0340
car came with fault which erases,but comes back when switch ignition back On
P0340 camshaft sensor faulty
sensor was replaced by previous garage,fault is still there.Sensor has two pins, at key ON at camshaft sensor plug disconncted on pin there is ground OV,and on pin 2 nothing.Does anyone have wiring diagram or knows do i need to have samo voltage at pin 2 red green wire.It cant be timing,because car has not even been started and the fault is there.

Would imagine should be 5v. Check the wire from camshaft to ecu

So either

1) it needs to be correct to clear the code after running
2) ecu
3) wires broken

Find somebody you dont like, borrow their volt meter, select 200k scale
connect one wire to your ‘dead’ wire then flash the other meter wire to b+
if no reaction bust wire or ecu

if reaction, needs more testing
