hi can anyone help with a problem i am having with my car first thing in the morning it smokes like mad seems to run one one or two cylinders then it goes onto four the smoke stops and no more smoke til the next day i have done a check on the heater plugs seem to be working in pre and post heat its had two new fuel filters and no change it looks like it may be a bit of a common fault while looking on the net but nobody has ever posted a cure thanks

Have you removed the heater plugs and checked them out of the car? It does sound like heater plugs,a classic.

yes id go for that,take them out and get them on a battery with some jump leads....count to 5,,,if it glows its ok...if it dont bin it....

i have tested them with a multi meter had about 8 ohm on each one will have a go at removing them for a proper test
