EDC17_CP20_DPF_EGR_OFF

Hi friends,

Could somebody help me with DPF and EGR off on my VW Passat 3C5 2.0 TDI CBDC
Ecu was read with Galletto.

ECU is EDC17CP20 version of SW 1037399859

Please could you correct checksum too ? Gallettto does not support function for this ECU.


If there will be someone helpfull I´ll pay for this modification.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your time. I´ve flashed ECU and there appeared one problem. I´ve received DTC P0610 Engine Control Incorrectly Coded and glow plug light is flashing.
I´ve chcecked coding and everything looks good, do you have any opinion what I need to do ?

Thank you for your solution but not working :// After flash only both fans runs at full speed. After flashing to old SW everything works like before. Couldn´t be there chcecksum error ?

Hi,

Ecu looks like dead, on modified SW car doesn´t start. I´ve tested it few times. On original starts and it works and modified nothing. I´m sending pictures from VDCS. Are there any ideas what could I check ? I can´t correct flash checksum before write (Galletto doesn´t support this ECU).

With clone galletto you write file over OBD?

Yes clone Galletto but read/write on bench in bootmode

BTW: from OBD it is impossible to write without disabling TP If I´m right (I´m not sure, but there should be differences between CP14 and CP20) Main problem is that at CBAB engine SW checksum correction works but at this CBDC doesn´t on my Galetto... :///

Checksum error... you running on clone tools, know they dont do chks... but claim solution is bad. Really?

1 Reset Particulate Filter Parameters and soot counter.
2 Delete all dtc from the ECU.

3 EGR Solution, the connector can be disconnected

He got manual, by switch solution... above. Yes Vinci do also switch off... but not only dpf for dpf... look at end line for dpf switch also kills more :).
But should also works with... BUT he is on clone galletto and dont know about checksum... so non unchecksummed version will work :D.
