Mercedes EIS not springing back

Going to this job tomorrow

Issue is this: Car starts ok but key doesn’t spring back to allow starter to shut off it has to be turned back slightly by hand

Anyone come across this ?

Strip eis and clean it .. Maybe full off dust and grime ..
Have seen this on the lenses as well for reading the key ..

But have seen some vito eis that gets worn out on the plastic parts .
So you need to wiggle the key to unlock..
