I like to read

I have VCP with EDC17 Flash Plugin
I connect the unit on bench with this Pinout.

Pin 5 12V
Pin 1 GND
Pin 87 + 92 12V

Pin 67 CanL
Pin 68 CanH


I have a 120Ohm Resistor between CanH and CanL
With this connection I can establish diag with ECU

But when I connect the 1kOhm resistor to establish bootmode I can not read the unit via VCP
No comms

Can someone give me furhter instructions what to do?

I like to read the unit to performe EGR off
