Hi,

I have a RENAULT Clio II - 2000 year model with 1.2i - 8v engine.

The cars centrallock stopped working and at the same time the car didnt want to start because it was left for to long and battery died.

I took out the immobilizer and did see that the car only has 1 Key in the immobilizer system.
I programmed one PCF7935 chip (overwrite) the original one (My question is, is that possible? or should I virginize the immobilizer first?)

Tried immo off but didnt succeed that is why I thought to leave the car with original alarm system/function and program a new chip.

Cant remember if the car had pcf7930 chip inside the key but It's a 2000 year model so I remember not seing any or I'm misstaken.

Help please? What should I do?

File attached.

Thank you.

Best regards,
DeLuXe

Hi,

Sorry. BMT N3. The car wasnt here but I got ECU + BMT sent in.
I used VVDI 2 for making PCF7935 only to try start the car. Havent tried to program the key or remote with diagnostics.

Thanks

Hi

You Should Firstly Know Your Pincode, Then You Should Virgin Your BMT And Enter Pincode To BMT Then You Can Program New Blank Tronsponder, You Can Use Pcf7930/31/35,

Then With Diagnostic Use Remote Learning Function,

I Attached Virgin BMT For You

Pass In Pm

Thanks

Thank you so much for your information and help my friend, much appreciate and hat of for you.

Just to my knowledge, the pincode in this car is stored in the ecu ?
TMS 374 ?
But with that virgin bmt file, isnt it possible to just make a new transponder and send it out to the customer to start the car?

FVDI only have CLIO 2 from 2002-2006
Would that work for this car from 2000? :/

Why you search problem when there isn’t
just program pcf7935 and start
and if you need more keys just copy

fvdi doesnt help you

for remote you can use used remote but you need to virgin your bmt and ecu
renault ecu tool can help you

I tried to make new transponder but without making virgin to BMT.
Car didnt start. I dont have Renault ECU Tool, that is my issue right now.
I can possibly read ECU information if Its possible to unsolder and read TMS374 on table but I believe that is not possible due to other eeproms in the ECU.

Thanks for the help.

Hi, you can program a T5 or 7935 with your original 93c56 dump. avdi (ori fvdi) "key tool" and "Renault clio I (-2001) ..."

I do it with this tool and protag or MK3

I have many tools but to bad not the original avdi. Only have the FVDI clone version.

It's little weird because car should start with either T5/7935 chip to original dump programmed on bench.
But it doesnt. Battery was out when the car stopped responding to the original key even. Dont know what to do next :/

Thanks for the help. If anyone have another tip or anything related then please share :)

Can you post transponder logic and pin code that you get with your tool?

Your original key is OK also the key that you program with the original file is OK

The car has other problem

for sure is not key problem

Is the security light comes on the dash when turn the key?

and what happens after that ? lights disappear or blink fast ?

Hi again,

Yeah that is what I think as well. The weird thing is that the central locking remote doesnt work wich makes little confused.
But with the 7935 chip the car should start.
Lights disappear so no immobilizer issue it seems :/

If some fuse is blow or plug is coroded will lost the remote and start

So important is what happens with the security light when swith the ignition ON

If immo lights not come solid light when switch ignition ON - That means bad connection or blow fuse

if lights come solid and after that blink fast means that BCM has connection but can't see the key - maybe bad connection on the coil

Also don't trust too much on their words that remote was working

If lights disapear for sure the key is OK

Scan the car for faults - check the fuses and check the engine connector for water ingress

Thanks for the help :)
It might be the fuel pump because no sound or anything.
Wasnt me that checked it but the guy says there is 0.07v on one of the cables.

Possibly the cause.

I will try to help me out to search fault codes and maybe replace fuel pump.

Thanks again,

Hi all,

Just a quick update.

- Key is OK (remote no).
- New programmed transponder did great. Immobilizer light off.
- No sound of fuel pump, no 12v to fuel pump
- Gave power to fuel pump and it is in working condition.
- All fuses OK.

I did notice one thing.
The same week I tried to do 2 ecus of this type -Safir2 immo off with emulator.
One was successfull, light of immobilizer and fuel pump was ok.
This one I remember trying remove immo but no lights at all from ECU lighting up.

My only conclusion is ECU is dead.
So time to order a new ECU and make IMMO off :)

Hopefully that will solve all the problems.
