me7.5 pops and bangs adjustment

hi guys ive had my 2001 s3 now for a few years it has been tuned with previous owner to 269bhp and 289lbft it also has pops and bangs added but the problem is it only happens when you rev above 5500rpm it only does one maybe 2 pops.

would it be possible to reduce rpm were pops are active to 3000k intead of 5500k also any way to have it pop contentiously until you drop below 3000k instead of 1 or 2 pops.

ps im happy to pay car has large front mount intercooler and full 3inch straight pipe no cats or boxes
