BMW EDC17CP02 CLONE?

Need to clone EDC17CP02 2009 120D

Never cloned this ECU before but lots of EDC16C35

In C35 I would just make a back up and write and resync EWS-DME.

But i read online that EDC17 has CAS4 and cant do it like C35.

Some say to copy EEPROM, resync EWS

Some say to clone EEPROM and FLASH

Some say to just clone and DME EWS will automaticly sync...

Some say to just do IMMO OFF in FLASH...

Haven't read the ECU but would like some more info please :)

Clone ecu will do the job. No sync need.
Or read ISN from new ecu and sync with cas manually.

Cloned the ECU but car doesn't start. Got code 2E3C Anti Tampering.

I use snap on machine "Tried to Resync EWS DME" got this vehicle is fitted with CAS4, Use Reset Starter Interlock"

So i reset starter interlock, still no start but now i have now EWS fault codes...
