Hello guys,
I found 2 different procedurers.
No sound, or cycle from locks.
BK2T-15K601-AB fsk remote.
Is there a factory setting, that prevents remotes to be adapted?
I have done a few Fords before,
This one seems different.
Any tips,
Greetings Robbert

as Newone told you, you need original remote with integrated chip on the PCB and remote will work stright away after key program
I read that on some early models around 2014 is possible to add aftermarket remote manualy but I never had succes

Your not trying to use cheap chinese fobs are you Rob . Customer prob bought crap off ebay
I use to use the chinese autokey fobs intended for cars - worked well until they changed stock to cheap n nasty
Remote on those cheap fobs are separate thus won't program on these Transits.
Now OEM all the way with Fords

I use some Chinese remotes, on Fiesta and Focus, 2012 up.
These remote, i program in manualy.
When i google this BK2T-15K601-AB, i do find these keys with separate transponder.
So i will go with a recomended seller, and buy a oem.

US Fiesta has same basic remote system. Yesterday I programmed Rhk on 2019 Fiesta with dealer key (for dealer!) and remote did not program in at same time. I used 8 times on and off, wait for chime, press lock/unlock on each remote, on and off with key and done. Best success is when you start out, open and close door, lock with dash button, and then start key cycles. I have done transit big van with no chime, I think it was around 15 or2016. Kind of stumbled my way through it.

If think if transponder is id49 then remote programmes with on board pcb. 2014 below remote is manual procedure. Oem keys are the best on the later models.

Focus and Fiesta, yes.
This Transit, does not give any signes off entering programming mode.
No beep, no click, nothing.
I found to seperate discription,
And tried all, with without closed door, belt inserted, not inserted etc.
So either the aftermarket alarm installed, is messing up the can communication. Or Transit is different from others Fords.

I've met one time Transit Custom 2012 that i can use KD remote with separated TP.
But all others use remote integred in PCB. So for this model, only OEM key will work.
Remote programming in the same time than TP.

About these Keys, with internal recharging batterys.
I looked die some replacement batreys.
I found the vl2032, to fit the older blue key.
What is inside these newer Keys?
And IT looks like the casing needs to be replaced.
Theses Keys are sealed.

By VIN number I can try to get the correct key part number ...
I also leave a procedure in case you want to try.
FORD REMOTE: THIS PROCEDURE RESETS ALL THE VEHICLE'S REMOTE CONTROLS. ALL OPERATING REMOTE CONTROLS MUST BE REPROGRAMMED DURING THE PROCEDURE
Make sure not to press the brake pedal at any time during or before the procedure.
Procedure A:
1. CLOSE all doors, then OPEN the driver's door and PRESS the UNLOCK button on the driver's door while it is OPEN.
2. INSERT the key into the ignition.
3. SWITCH the ignition from OFF to ON 8 times in 8 seconds, and the eighth time ends in ON.
4. The door locks WILL CYCLE to confirm the programming mode. (If the door locks do not work, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing the key and starting from step 1)
NOTE: OFF is the position where you can remove the key, ON is the position before starting the car.
5. WITHIN 10 seconds, PRESS any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. The door locks WILL CYCLE to confirm programming.
6. REPEAT step 5 for any additional remote controls. If you only have one remote control, go to step 7.
7. Turn ignition OFF. The locks will re-cycle to indicate the end of the programming mode.
NOTE: If this does not work, try the procedure with the door closed.
Procedure B:
1. FASTEN your seat belt and CLOSE all doors.
2. SWITCH the ignition from OFF to ON 4 times in 3 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition off. The system will sound to confirm the programming mode.
4. WITHIN 10 seconds, press and hold any button on the first keyless remote. The system will ring once to confirm the programming.
5. REPEAT step 4 for all additional remote controls.
6. SWITCH ignition ON to exit programming mode.

Thank you,
I have tried both off these methods. And the car did not cycle or ring.
The car i worked on, is fitted with a extra DEFA DVS90.
If that interfiers, i am not sure.
I hope to test these methods, again on another car.
A few responded, and are convinced that the remote should work instant, when programming a oem key.
Might there be a differences, for cars fitted with oem alarm system.
Uk many cars have oem alarm.
In the Netherlands, most Transit dont have a oem alarm.
