no i'm not kidding, and i'm not a rookie in this world. Buy a 0261204983 bosch ecu, flash that file, then tell me if ecu reply in kline channel the bootmode request. With bad file, hybrid bosch ecu dies. No way to recover it.

it strikes me that a perhaps wrong file locked the ecu.....

You can wrote what you want on map location, also a wrong software mod, also a wrong checksum, there's no problem. If you mod wrong same file before map zone, booting could be impossible, then ecu don't be flashable.
first file sent had 1 bit mod on 791B. I have wrote this file many times, then ori back, no problem
second manual solution have 2 bit mod, one on 791B and another on 43D1 (some bit before map zone). Checksum corrected wrote with ioterminal on 2 ecu, both not respond anymore. Tried with smok, kess, ioterminal. No way
What do you think?

solved about ecu bricked with wrong program with ioterminal and pinout found on jolly prog
now i test your latest solution, but seems all similar. I have to disconnect antenna?

If anyone interested, I think I figured out how to make these ECUs virgin. You need to change the eeprom, not the flash.
