View Full Version : 123D OverBoost problem

Long story-short, gutted DPF, EGR removed, and after that was thinking of a good remap.
Here comes the problem, local tuner, a good one did measured the car, me too after that, and we both confirmed that the Big turbo is over-boosting above 2000rpm,and its boosting till 2.4,2.39 bars and the requested boost curve is much lower than that, and this needs to be sorted out before a remap is done.
The car has all of the turbo controllers replaced, and all of hoses, no pressure leaks or anything, and really out of idea what can be done.
Just wondering if any one has experience with gutted DPF, and having the stock map with just the DPF switched OFF, and having a over-boost issue, maybe there is no backpressure or something.

Was it fine before gutting the dpf?

Are they any over boost dtcs?

Is it over boosting with ori?

As it should not be over boosting with just dpf deleted must be other problem to why it is.
