hi guys, i have a problem in 2012 polo auto tranmission ecu
dtc is :
1) 01166 engine torque signal -check dtc memory
2) 01314 engine control module module -check dtc memory

engine ecu had many dtc, after clearing im left with
1) 17580 angle sensor 2 for throttle actuator signal too low
2) 17950 angle sensor 1 for throttle actuator implausible signal

car starts but does not rev at all. epc light stays on. transmission thumps into drive and reverse with all PRND lit up. was told it could be wiring harness from throttle body or wiring issue. any ideas before i have a go at it this weekend.

im in process of getting good used throttle body to check and will update shortly. i can understand throttle body causing no rev and epc light, but can a faulty throttle body actually cause transmission to thump into gear

Sorry not at the car now, but all i know is that its a 2012 vw polo vivo hatchback auto, vin AAVZZZ6SZCU030285 eng no . CLP094661. Hope this can help. What i find strange is that the first time i did diagnostic, the PRNDS was all lit up, epc light on, car start but no rev, transmission thumps into D and R.

After clearing transmission dtc, i was able to put into D and R without thumping. A day later even after trying to clear trans dtc, transmission still thumps into gear. So basically i was initially able to put into D and R without thumping. So im hoping that its throttle body or wiring issue

Hi problem is throttle actuator

Update: replaced used throttle body and all dtc cleared and car running 100%. It really seemed as if 09g transmision was damaged the way it was banging in gear, but throttle body was causing all the faults
