good day people.
i have a bmw r1200gs with a damaged ecu. owner got second ecu and sent it away to be cloned. got it back bike shows ews! on cluster and no start. i fitted a 3rd ecu and made a transponder for the ecu. bike starts but the mileage on the cluster blinks. i made a backup of the original ecu and wrote it back to the 3rd ecu and made a transponder. bike shows ews! and no start. i write original 3rd ecu data back to the 3rd ecu and bike starts.
i believe that the data from the original ecu is damaged and that the blinking mileage is because of the difference in mileage between the cluster and the ecu. can some one help change the mileage in the ecu to match the cluster also maybe the vin.
ECU: BMSKP 7 719 873 - 0 261 209 127
ECU MILEAGE: UNKNOWN
CLUSTER MILEAGE: 62687KM
i have attached the orig ecu and the new starting ecu files.
