Renault megane 1 how to programming remote?

Hi

I have a renault megane 1, in car replaced the uhc and immo off the ecu, car starts and no fault codes available

Key is with IR...

But I can't programming the remote to lock the car, i try by holding the central locking, not working,. I hold the lock button on key and try programming by pressing three times after, nothing happens....

How i can programming the remote?

You must have the immobilizer 4 digit pin code to program the remote

no code needed. the synchronization of the IR receiver is done as described ...

Sync is NOT adding new key. To make new key work is not so easy. You can sync only existing keys, not new one.

I don't want new keys, i have the car keys to programming in "new" uch, i had make the ecu already immo off, i need only the remote.....


Edit: The keys work fine (the remote part) in old faulty uch, if it is so hard to synchronise the remote part of the keys then i read the mcu and make clone the processor eeprom, that should work i guess...

If I clone the new uch with the previous one, you have to, with the emergency code and the centralized key, place the code and enter programming ... but if the uch is completely new, I think that the information on the keys you have no longer they are more

Another interesting piece of information is that these IR controls have a 16-byte data on their micro which are evolving at each push of the button. After a number of keystrokes it stops working .. the way to restore it or to be able to use a remote control from another vehicle is with the code sXXXX and carprog or bchip to generate a new 16-byte file for the micro and save it ... revive the controls that are from the car or you can program a used key from another car

I had Megane 1 1996 with 2 keys out of synhro and the owner drived the car inputing every time the code from central lock button manually

To resinc must enter the code manually after that press the lock button on the dash and hold 5 seconds and central lock must cycle then press the button on the key near the receiver on the ceiling and central locking must cycle, press the button on the second key if you have central locking must cycle again to confirm

switch ignition on off and check the remotes

The only issue i have now with the car is the remote.....

the ecu is immo off, i replace the uch(the original is faulty) and i want to reprogram the car keys (only the remote part...) with "new" uch......

So if i understand correctly, i extract the pin from the key with carprog, with the key pin is possible to programming the cars key to "new" uch? ONLY the remotes i don't care for the immobilizer....

I don't remember which capsule brings the micro ... but I would change the micro directly if it is not possible to read the incircuit the uch ... in case of desoldering it uses flux and hot air only to the legs ... never to the core of the micro

Yes, you can swap mcu. But I agree with Rafal, the best solution is to install an aftermarket remote - you will have 2 keyfobs, instead of old ir ori which can stop working very soon, or receiver can die ....

It is used one that is working right, i don't make it virgin because i have only renolink 1.87(ori)
And it doesn't support that old car....

Ok so much missinformation here.
Pin code sync procedure will work only if your keys came with replacement (as you call it NEW) uch.
If not, as someone said before, you can try to swap MCU from OLD unit to replacement (NEW) and then try pin code sync procedure.

Agree, most users that posted on this thread are confused and are not aware that SYNC procedure is not procedure that can add new (used) key to the uch that is not matched to

Hello you need to virginise uch and then you can add used remote if your ecu is in immo off state no problem
if you have Renault ecu tool it’s easy by obd

Swap MCU or clone MCU is your only/best chance, and you can reactivate immo to on...

Hi again, i manage to find a remote from the "new" uch, the remote works fine, i extract the code and make a second key from the old bsi with carprog...

Immo in dash disappear now,

I put the second key i enter the code, i push the central lock button and i push key button too, i hear the locks once but remote is still unprogrammed, i don't have immo light on dash, and i cant programming the second remote with everything combination i found
....
