hey, was looking for some advice on the ford sid208 ecu's
firstly i suspect my ecu may be water damaged, sometimes the van will start and drive with no issues at all, i could turn it off and try restart the engine and it wont restart unless i leave it 10-15min. there is no lights on the dash or any fault codes stored on the ecu. i did come across water on the board but no visable damage
has anyone ever came across a water damaged ecu which doesnt throw faults but causes running issues? id be expecting it to throw some sort of fault code?
secondly can these be cloned with ktag? seem to be coming across contradicting info on here regarding cloning these ecus
