you try with original vag can commander ?
if yes try to read as "direct"
if no,maybee you use clone of vag commander

best job you can make on desk
remove dash,read 912dg128............is easy
post dump here..........and you will find what do you need
best regards

i think should be 2Mb,eeprom and flash content

anyway,to the subject

Hi i am in the same situation, customer has used vag tacho (unsure of version) and display reads 999999.. i have tried reading the 912 with tacho universal (Audi 2000 cable) - it seemed to save a file on the tacho universal (ept file) but read VERY quickly so not sure if dump is good or not.. I will try and upload to computer asap.. if read is not good, is there anything else i can use.. i have Xprog M, willem and tachopro on hand and if need be will have to order something to read/write 912 in circuit.. any suggestions..

Also does anyone have a good dump for 2002 TT (Jaeger clocks) 9N2 920 980 A (id'd as a M73 with tachoPro)

Cheers Guys
