View Full Version : Audi a4 b7 instrument cluster rb8 crypto failed

hi to all... i have an problem with an instrument cluster from an audi a4 b7 from 2007 ... someone was tried to change km in the past and now instrument cluster it s black(dead) and no way to restore....
I have removed from the car and read 24c08 dump from it
Can someone make it virgin state or help me with something ?

You can test this file. Normally I would believe, that dashboard has hardware damage as you descripe. But I took now a dump same partnumber/version (here from DK) and transfered crypted km-value, all 3 crypted immo-blocks and vin from your dump. You have nothing to loose. :-)

hi... i tried, more good, show everything , but def. and car not start! km show original in good conditions

You can try this file. Maybe you can write it now with OBD? What tools you have?

i tried your solution, def in dash and car no start ! km show ok

Just play a bit. Try to read/write immo data.

i just played, not working:( everytime when i read write def in dash and car not start, maybe someone may help me with an eeprom repair , i will pay for this

I have problem with FVDI when I change a milleage in RB8.
FVDI change milleage perfectly but FVDI change few bites in immo data.
I read eeprom by clips and change milleage by FVDI. After that I read eeprom by clips and I made one file from two :P

u could repair my eeprom , my fault is that i didn t make a backup read first, i just pushed write without make a backup of the working eeprom

I think FVDI makes some backup automatically , look for it in folders - if not there is an option repair RB8 DEF in FVDI
