Hi All,

I sell Ford cars and really need to be able to add keys to the ECU. I would be interested in other models in the future but my main focus is Ford cars. Ford cars from 2008 - 2018 .

Can anyone please help me? I am reading so much on the internet and everyone is trying to sell me expensive tools. I was going to buy Abrites 2014 Clone, but unsure if it will work on newer fords. Or my other option is software Forscan... but I do not know how I will read what chips are in the keys?

Anyone please take the time to advise me the software and cheapest easiest solution? for Ford. Eventually I would like to start to do other cars etc, but a the moment happy with just Ford.

Thanks,

Call a Locksmith to help you out. Locksmiths will not sell cars. So:

Why someone earn his life with this kind of job will help you to cut his incoming bills?

Be logic in the life!!!

no experience , no knowledge , no skills just need a cheap bit of kit that does all ford keys including latest models as dont want to pay a professional, now where have i heard this before .

make very good friends with a local auto locksmith and diagnostic specialist , as if planning on using cheap and clone tools on late fords you are seriously going to need there services .

you really dont need to break your own cars , theres plaenty of facebook and forum locksmiths that will break them for you very cheap .

seriously though , please tell me how to do your job and what the cheapest kit is to do what you do so i dont have to pay you to the job for me , did you really expect this would yield results ?

best advice , use a professional service , the more work you give them the lower the price will be and with a professional you wont be left with broken cars.

Don't be so harsh on the guy. He doesn't know that there is no cheap option.

We all had to invest not in 1 expensive solution but at least in 2-3 to be able to cover those that didn't work with the first tool (or those that the first tool broke). It doesn't matter if you are going to make just one car brand or all of them. You always need to invest serious amount in 2-3 quality tools and 4-5 cheap China replicas.
Buddy, best thing for you will be to find a local locksmith and make some sort of agreement with them to come when you need help. Or just start reinvesting the profits (you sell cars, not toothpicks after all) from your business and start new locksmith business - then everyone will be happy to help you with all sorts of advices.

Here are two sites of the medal. One - if the guy is thinking that 400 usd will do, and he will rule the ford with it :D. 2nd - he is willing to pay 3k usd and more to be able to do it for himself anytime he wants ...

From the simple math, if he has up to, lets say 30 cars per year to do, the tool will pay for itself. 2nd year will be clear profit.

Still we have a matter of key blade cutting, but at least he will be able to programm them.

BTW. Truecode will do fords up to 2016 only ?

"2014 Abrites" definitely covers models from 2018. Just buy and try.

I do think you have been abit harsh so maybe I should explain a bit more. I admit I am very new to this hence looking for help.
I do have experience with hex and software etc from quite few years ago though. I have done cellular unlocking / repairs, bios password recovery, software cracks programming etc.
I am doing this because I have an interest in software and security. It is not for financial reasons. I have used a lock Smith once in 3 years. Even a clone will cost me more than I save.

I also do mechanical work to cars and break the odd one. I would learn with the ones been broken for spares and my own vehicles.

Eventually like with the phones if I get good it could be worth me investing money and offering it as a service. That is so far off though it is not worth thinking about at the moment.

I deal with ford cars so thought that would be the best place to start learning.

I have used forums for over 25 years and never had such a response.

its not harsh to expect you to do what most of us have had to do , learn from the basics up , master the basics and build on these foundations , research the best equipment( not the cheapest clone) for the models and years you wish to cover , research the parts needed for each model and year and what the change over years are and what the programming differences are for the change overs , what to do when the computer says no and what not to do .

it is far easier to just ask and wait for someone else to give you all the answers certainly quicker and easier than putting yourself out and learning all you need to through your own effort , those that have earnt this knowledge wouldnt consider their response harsh but your question disrespectful even rude.

if you really want to learn this then put some effort in , earn some knowledge , be clear on what you want , you reap what you sew and would get a far better response as someone making an effort to learn seriously rather than just another parasite wanting all the info for no effort and simply just ask and expect answers , more are happy to help those that help themselves first rather than the 1 armed entitled brigade .

my advice would be save your money and enlist the help of a good locksmith

Nobody actually mentioned cheapest option for a lot of Fords on the Road, at least USA. You have two keys, use on board programming to program a third, less than two keys, call a locksmith....
