Does the NEC keys need to be new to program??
I've tried two keys so far, and initially when i soldered on the IR prog, it shows MCU TYPE OK, then i choose file and then press program, and it shows the key ID, then VERIFY ERROR, and it looks like the chip is damaged after that, coz it wont even read anymore.

Can you share some thoughts on this issue?
