Hello guys,

I am interested in getting into tuning, specifically diesel tuning as a hobby for my own car as well as select friends, as well as to advanced my University Studies and add to my CV.

Is there any resources which actually indicate what maps are which with-in a file, how much to advance/ retard by, injection duration and pressure, calculating AFR with-in the map and all that kind of stuff?

I know pretty much everything there is to know about the actual operation of an engine, however the fine details of tuning is a bit of a dark art, other than increasing certain files.

Thanks!

Looks interesting. Not sure if it will apply to me though as I do not owe a VAG car.

Vag Bmw PSa etc. bosch ecus have similar maps. the rule is the same. You have to learn to recognize maps.
