Is it possible to swap the Iveco EDC16C39 ECU with an Alfa Romeo / Fiat EDC16C39 ECU?

The goal is easier diagnosis with Multiecuscan, and use of full defined damos that I have for Alfa Romeo / Fiat EDC16C39.

i dont understand what you want to do but if you want clone your Iveco ecu you must find matching numbers for your ecu.

Your ECU 0281012193 (EDC 16C39-5.A3) you can swap into:

0281014911
0281017111
0281017112

Thanks for the answers!

Well, I will try to explain what I mean by "SWAP".

I think we all remember how common it was to switching from MSA15 to EDC15 to skip the hardware interventions and start flashing through the OBD.

I am currently thinking in the same direction.. for example switching from Iveco EDC16C39 ECU to Alfa Romeo 159 EDC16C39 ECU.

And my worries begin here:

What will I need to do this?
Will I have to change the engine wiring harness, sensors?
What has to be done for the IMMO?
What will happen with the modules and functions (different than the engine) managed by the old ECU?

Anyone with experience in changing engine factory ECU control? :)
