2016 ford transit non-pats remote programming??????

Hello today made key for 2016 ford transit that does not have immobilizer fitted from factory... I could not find any way to program remote for keyless entry... I tried alot of programmers and none had option to program rke.... Anybody has this experience before and found a remedy????

Have you used genuine key why is this vehicle without pats where do you leave.

USA pats not fitted at factory.. 0 keys on memory and starts with metal key... no coil around ignition switch...

1. Fasten seatbelt and close all doors
2. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within 3 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition OFF. The system will chime to confirm programming mode.
4. Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on first keyless remote. The system will chime once to confirm programming.

Maybe the van doesn't have remote control option - Did you check is the van has locks on both front doors?

In some countries is not necessary to have immo chip


I had Toyota 2012 Japan import without chip

Im working on 2018 Ford Transit. Im having a similar problem. Long story short , lock and unlock is not working. Ordered a new key from dealer and found no immo on these trucks then used same exact tools you used and ids and could not get he lock and unlock to work. Truck has power door locks so you would think it has to work. I could not even get the chime from the cluster to get it into programming mode. I found out that the truck was registed to amazon prior to new owner. These delivery vehicles get specific software to disaable a lot of featuers(info from ford). I found most up to date files for IPC PCM and BCM flashed and finally got the chime to activate when cycling igntion like the other memeber mentioned. But still no luck in making it the key work for the locking system. Going to attack it this week again. Will update if I find anything.

Van does have remote made spare key .. original remote works fine... I will try next time I get to van... Thanks
