Thats not my post.........

Anyhow, I do not know the answer to that because i do not use this software.

I would imagine they would have the up to date files and not include previous versions.

There is almost 25,000 files if you want to compare with older versions yourself.

The point i was making is that you'll have a flash file which fixes the intended problem but unware to vw creates a new one, so in the next flash disc vw releases a new file to fix both so the previous flash file is not to be used. Lumping all the flash discs together without manually sorting it all out could leave you scratching your head as to why the update did not fix the problem. This was pointed out a long time ago on another forum, they were too ignorant to understand as to what was being said.

Another example is flashing golf V radio with the intended flash file only to find that the radio had 3 FM presets FM1,FM2,FM3 before the flash and only 2 FM1,FM2 after the flash

If you are after flash files you best collect iso images of the original disc(s) in the order in which they were released for the country they were released for.

There used to be a Turkish (or Russian?) site, which contained almost all flashfiles for VAG. It contained some old/legacy flashfiles which were difficult to locate and are no longer present in flashdaten collection.
