just been on google maps and found a very precise way to get your longitude and latitude if its been done b4 i apologise

1. go to google maps
2. type in your postcode
3. put this in the search bar javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().ge tCenter()));
4. then press enter
5. your precise longitude and latitude will pop up in the middle of screen

i found this to be much more exact than other sites very easy to use just remember to put the instruction in the search bar not where you put your post code

after you insert your postcode

enter this to your http dont forget to delete first

javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().ge tCenter()));

copy and paste it into your search address(delete first) at the top of the page not were you put your postcode or it wont work press enter you will get a pop up with your co-ordinates in

While I was trying to get google to tell me I thought I would just try Worldwide map search, route finder and travel directions - powered by Multimap (http://www.multimap.com) . I found that if you select 'basic, map and than type in your post code it gives you the same info.
