Hi guys, I'm trying to understand how to read off the M35080 chip from a Corsa D Speedometer.
Firstly, when looking at the chip itself, it looks like 080D0WT, but I see that everything relates to 080D0WQ so I'm guessing it's the same.
I thought I could use the cheap and quick way of using CH314A programmer to read the chip, but there's many chip versions on the tool that I'm not sure what matches the chip. Though I've also seen on a different post here that maybe you have rewire the pins to make it actually read?
My first question is what's the best way to get a read from it? I see others using R270 tools, but is CH314A no use?
Secondly, once I've got a read from it, how is the mileage meant to be changed? I've been through a few Corsa BIN downloads to compare the before and after and I can notice that the same 4 bytes are repeated on lines 00000020 and 00000030 so I believe the mileage is there. But how does this convert into the actual value? For example I am seeing 6DE090F6 repeated there, and the mileage of the file is meant to show 78084.
Lastly, I understand the chips have the incremental area which can't be changed unless it's erased, is there any other advice on this, such as workarounds? Otherwise I'm happy to just put a new chip in once I can work out the first few questions.
Thanks
