EDC15VM+ Tuning Protection ? Or just bad Module ?

Hi,

I have a 8E0 907 401 C - 2,5 TDI ECU here.
We think i may have a tuning, and just wanted to make sure its
Original and reflash it with a sure stock-File.
EEP read/write no problem.
Flash read "seemed" o.k - writing the stock file back to the ECU fials
at around 99% and the ECU does not resond anymore
to normal Diagnostics. I/O terminal can still connect and read/write
but writing fails all the Time at same point.

Just bought a other used right one to put that in, but can i do anything else ?
Tryed 5 other EDC15VM+ with read/write - no problems, its no the tool Problem.

Inside nothing looks to be touched.

EVC Key can be installed inside ecu.

Easy one, desolder that flash and read/write on programmer

Don´t have a adapter for this on hand, and buying adapter cost more, than complete used ECU.
I could unsolder and resolder another FLASH, if the "Block" is in there and write it the via Socket.
But if "Block" is in Prozessor, that would not work.
