F30 akl vvdi2 version not supported

I went to an f30 bmw all keys lost today.
Fem on the bench connected through test platform I can read key data but when I go to prepare fem I get and error message

Current version not support please prepare using bmw e-sys.

Has anyone come across this ?

e sys - is a soft for BMW programming - maybe to downgrade it to lower version that is suported

I've done spares and lost all keys for f30 2015 420d 2015 +2016 never had any issues just this one

Depend on the tools that you have.


I have Autohex lite locksmith version and regularly must ask the support to downgrade the FEM by teamviewer

Maybe with VVDI is the same sitution if face high version must downgrade

Yes. You need to flash it with E-Sys to a newer, supported version, the VVDI will do it.

One clever developer sold the same FEM/BDC solution to all interested companies which means Bmw Explorer, Diagprog, Abrites, Yanhuaa, Xhorse, CGDI and all other china supports the same SWFL version. They telling you to downgrade because it is easy to so and dont cost them anything(developing new sw version).
If you failed on Esys you wont get any support obviously.
If you not very good to play with Esys you can use Autohex which doing this process a bit different. It is matching the software as it likes and after going through. Takes much much longer and sometimes comes with some strange errors and you need support to help.

Yes full Autohex very good i gave up with AVDI as every FEM it crashed out - tho this was some years ago

I have done more than 70 FEM/BDC never had a big issue with ACDP, only sometimes it fails to recover the coding, easily fixed with esys, ACDP is a killer for the money, never has failed to do a FEM/BDC in F series
or given unsupported version in my experience

Hello, on the BDC table with F39. It has the same message, you need to downgrade the software version. Currently it is:
SWFL: 00002419_085_010_130
BTLD: 00002418_085_010_060
CAFD: 000017BE_085_010_028

Please advise what psdzdata I need to set for programming?
