why disable fill up the fluid / steam clean the fap filter 2 hours work every 80 k miles

Simple fill up of the fluid doesn't work. You also have to reset the counters in the ecu that controls the injection of the fluid.

well yes but i was pointing out how simples it is to fix faults on them so fill fluid steam clean and reset counters

is not quiet simple
exist software xcalled ecusafe but too much money
some guys have others solutions

steam cleaning fap filters is mad in my opinion
the eloys fluid is wicked stuff mate
i spilled some onto a bit if the garage wall and gutter the weeds were dead in under an hour and nowt has grown since ?
this stuff is toxic as ~~~~
if yer mad enough carry on but think about it before ya do it
crazy way of savin a few quid imho

The eloys is dangerous yes. But when the fapfilter is blocked there is only white/grey ash in it.

the filter itself is a ceramic structure which requires a good whack from a hammer to remove it. then you can replace the empty pipe back into the exhaust.

the additive isn't as dangerous as you guys make it out to be. when filling up my car i spilt some on my hand but couldn't wipe it off straight away. when i did there was nothing wrong with my skin or anything.

from my research the best way around the expensive FAP system is to remove it from the ECU.
