Anyone know if when Autotuner reads using OBD function, it permantly unlocks ecu ? i see under progress it says
"ECU Unlocked"
Got a slave Autotuner unit, wondering if after i can just do a OBD read with my Kess Master and perform work using this tool? Theoretically speaking ECU has been unlocked / Yes ?
haven`t tried yet or done an ID after reading with Autotuner.
Just a random thought, Anyone have any feedback.
Cheers

In theory would work, but my brain thinks no way. Btw, If you don't try, I can try by myself on next PCR2.1.

"Keep unlocked"
No it`s either Locked or Unlocked, simple as that, and no you don`t have to read on bench to unlock,

If you want to know realy ecu is unlocked-open ecu , read 25640 and post dump here.

every real tool will tell you if ecu is unlocked or locked on ID over obd
