Hi,
i need suggestions to read mc9s12d64 mcu with mask 2l86d
i read that if on relay i have "made in japan" i can read it without risks...Fortunately i have this.
I seen connections for xprog
must i connect :
gnd, reset,vdd and bkgd on test point near mcu
xclks on mcu pin
and lift extal and twist it with gnd wire
finally i must choose mc9s12_eprom on xprog and read it
right? any suggestions?

Yes you can read it with Xprog, but I recommend reading with VVDI prog.
it has sec bytes and you can damage Flash while reading, be careful.

How Can i avoid to damage flash? What means "be careful"?

Im read this EWS and use VVDI Prog read OK. This MCU is secured and possible to erase all important data.

I have researched it before doing my first one. Didn't have the the VVDI prog at the time.

Did it with R270. DONT TRY WITH AK90!!!!!!!
Some clones of Xprog will kill it if you have relay Made in china.
If relay made in china - only R270 and VVDI prog

i have relay made in japan...it s sure work with xprog?
can i programm new key with zedfull in obd?

xprog isn't good?
