It has lot of bugs to be worked out at dealer level . some disconnction problems ,does not list vt365 for 2007,2008 or 2009 .! I tryed to connect to a 2007 ce bus with vt365 & it keep disconnecting me ? ,Tech support said it has bugs to be worked out . (new software always like this ) Sould be great program when updates come.

If you are using NEXIQ usb just pick NEXIQ usb It will pick the proper protocol same with blue tooth .

Ok so let me make sure i understand, I just select nexiqusb and don;t select anything else, it shows like 50 diff choices after i pick nexiq usb (example can125, can250,can500,can2 125, iso2254) etc.

Service assistant for international light truck (ford powerstrok).
diamond logic for international body builder .
md 32 for international engines 2004 and before.

Change 2nd set of digits in serial to "D88C" or you can play around with those numbers as you wish as long as you stay within abcdef12345678

Step 4 enjoy the extended trial!!!

when you have the chance of doing a performance test of cylinders, tells me how it works this software, please

When checking cylinders you can perform injector disable test , engine running ,temp obove 160 .some will do auto injector test , some you have to do it manualy 1 cylinder at time (it kills fuel to the cylinder you are checking . A good cylinder will drop in RPM alot. (like bad engine miss).

when you have a bad cylinder say #2 all it means is that cylinder is not working proper.

Do Relative Compression test if # 2 comes up low , you will have to do manual compression test ( could be bad valves,piston /rings etc .

If # 2 come up good on manual compression test valve cover has to come off ,check rockers & valve springs if all ok probley getting into bad /pluged injector.

note I use Nexiq connector on Maxx Force engins I use 1939 protocol on all others I use 1708 .

you have to be reg with navister to get password & login
just disconnect from internet & program will be diagnosic only program. you don't need internet to run ServiceMaxx.

There are more possible combinations that will work than there are days in the next 100 years. Just try random numbers from 1-9 and letters from a-f and you will find one that will work.

Try uninstalling that ver of java 6.10 run the servmaxx.exe while online it will find the correct java and install it, Maybe
you got a bad download. Just a suggestion that would be the first thing I would do.

when you uninstall java make sure the folders in c:\documents and settings\Administrator\application data\sun\java (are deleted)
As always its good to backup any folders in case you need them.
than rerun the service maxx program . it will get the proper java.

I get the same error if I'm not hooked up to the Internet... and for some reason, you have to Run as Administrator with Vista or Windows 7 in order for it to work.

I've seen this same problem. Avoid upgrading Java is the only solution that I've seen. I also disable the automatic update check that Java does.

The box that shows up is for online use of servmaxx, you need a user name and pass given by Int.(don't think your going to get it with "free" sw), just click diagnostics(offline) and it works well that way. Hope this helps.

Guys D88C just happend to be the one that worked and gave longest registration on my pc. If it doesnt work for you or only gives a few months/years keep trying different numbers + letters containing 1-9 and a-f. There are many combos that will work.

The Servmaxx here on Dk is for offline use. You can use the diagnostics just can't update it. But if you install it the first time make sure you are online and it will get the newest version.

Second number set as a date code works perfectly on the newest version of ServiceMAXX and Java. I have an International account so I don't know what happens if I go online yet. I got tired of using the old and slow work laptops and installed ServiceMAXX on my own personal laptop. It's SOOO much faster.

After looking through all these threads, I've found that a keygen isn't required to extend the expiry date. As mentioned many pages back, the simplest way is to change the registration second number set.

Example
ABCD-EF12-3456-7890

Change the EF12 to something like 59AB. As long as you get an expiry date long after you're dead, it should be fine.

Navistar is constantly changing ServiceMAXX. Personally, I usually hate many of the changes they do. The login became a pain. Formatting and layout changes usually suck and some of the diagnostic tests still don't run properly on the new MaxxForce engines.

As for the login screen, unless you have an account with Navistar, you'll never get a username or password. All that will allow you to do is modify parameters in the ECM. Today I changed some cruise control settings with one of the work laptops, stuff like that. All changes are sent to Navistar so they know what changes are done and whose account did the changes.

Just hit the Diagnostics button on the login screen to use ServiceMAXX has a basic diagnostic tool offline.

That's for the info on how to get rid of the 30 day expiry. I exited the program and reloaded and I still have 60 years before it expires. Even rebooted the laptop with the same results. If going online changes something, I'll keep you informed but if you don't have a Navistar account, you probably will never need to worry about it.
